All journeys will be carried out by licensed drivers and plated vehicles approved by the local authority and full hire and reward insurance will be in place.
We are insured for passenger travel. This insurance is for public liability and doesn’t constitute travel
We cannot be held responsible for any theft or damage to properties or belongings of the
passengers or any other person travelling.
Bookings can be made by phone, text, or email, we will confirm the booking details to avoid
discrepancies. We will advise on journey times if requested and will give advice based on experience, time of day, likely traffic conditions and adverse weather impact.
We do not accept responsibility for journey delays caused by severe traffic, road accidents, adverse
weather conditions, any delays caused by strike action, acts of God or conflict or war or Force
Vehicles and Drivers
Child seats are not legally required in private hire vehicles; however, these can be provided on
request or customers can use their own. When a child seat is being used it is the responsibility of the Parent/Guardian to secure the seat in the vehicle.
We reserve the right to refuse to carry any passenger whose behaviour poses a threat to the driver,
vehicle, or any other passenger.
Airport Meet and Greet
The price will include one hour waiting time from the time of landing until we get to the parked
vehicle, parking is charged at cost unless specifically mentioned.
All inbound flights are monitored online by our drivers.
Payment can be made by bank transfer, credit card, cash or cheque, accounts are available following an approval process.
Should you wish to cancel your booking, the following charges will apply:
More than 24hours – no charge
Less than 24 hours – charged in full
Wasted journeys will be treated as late cancellations and charged in full.
For bespoke bookings we reserve the right to have an increased non-refundable cancellation period.
DAT Chauffeurs UK Ltd are committed to protecting your privacy and personal details. We will do so
in line with UK general data protection policy and the new European General Data Protection Policy
(GDPR). Your data is only processed and used by us on a lawful basis, for the purposes of providing
you with a quote, or providing a direct chauffeur service to you.
The types of personal Client information that we collect, relates to both bookings made with us and
requests for quotes. This could include your name, address, phone number, email address, or card
details for processing of a payment.
